Trip to Smithsonian
Volunteers at the Southern Lancaster County Historical Society are considering hosting a trip to the Smithsonian museums in Washington, D.C., in 2018. Anyone interested in taking the trip should call Sue Lamborn at 610-932-3305 by the end of this year.

The Teen Dungeons and Dragons Club will meet from 1 to 4:30 p.m. The club is for ages 12 and older.
Tuesday, November 28
The Friends of the Quarryville Library will hold a book sale from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. This month's book sale will be held just on Tuesday. There will be a variety of books for children, young adults, and adults.
The Writers Group will meet at 6 p.m. at the library. The meeting is open to the public.
Thursday, November 30
The Junior Master Gardener Club for ages six to 12 with a caregiver will meet from 4:15 t0 5:30 p.m.
Friday, December 1
The Wee Readers Story Time will be held from 10:30 to 11:10 a.m. The story time is for ages one to five with a caregiver and will include stories, crafts, and songs.
The Teen Anime Club for ages 13 to 18 will meet from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The anime will be rated G or PG.
Saturday, December 2
Build a Gingerbread House will be an opportunity for ages three and older with a caregiver will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be sessions at 10 and 11 a.m., noon, and 1 p.m. The limit is 20 children per session. Each family should bring one bga of candy to contribute to the decor pile. Registration is required and may be made by calling Randi Kennedy at 717-806-1804 or stopping at the library's circulation desk.
