Born January 5, 1941 in Elizabethton, Tennessee, Dean was the son of the late Bruce and Ella Jane (Hyder) Lovelace.
A heavy equipment operator, he was a member of the Operating Engineers Local 37 in Baltimore. He worked on many projects and highways in the area including 495 in Delaware, 695 and Rt.40 in Maryland and he even went to Turkey for 18 months to work on airport runways. He was proud of all the projects in which he participated. In his down time he enjoyed gardening, “tractoring”, “collecting”, scratch-offs and word searches.
He would faithfully start each day visiting Benjamin’s grocery store and Royal Farms. A friend to all, he always lent a helping hand and he will be missed by many.
