It's time to swap out those snow plows for the warm weather version.
The fourth annual Cecil County Farm Museum-sponsored Plow Day is set for March 29 at 9:30 a.m.
Plow Day is a very basic event. Area farmers and tractor enthusiasts break out their tractors and plows for an exhibition. Nearly two dozen tractors ranging in model year from the 1930s to the 1970s, demonstrate plowing techniques.
This event is also a fundraiser for the Cecil County Farm Museum. Volunteers sell food and drink with all proceeds from the sales going to the museum fund.
It has been a longtime goal for those involved with the farm museum to get a permanent location for a museum to educate the public about Cecil's agricultural roots.
The inclement weather date for this event is April 5.
