Matthew Larrimore would like you to have a seat.
Of your very own.
Larrimore, 17, a member of the Calvert Boys and Girls Club 4-H Club and Rising Sun High School junior, has started a campaign to purchase chairs for the Calvert Grange Hall. The grange is used widely in the community and is also home to the 4-H club to which Larrimore belongs.
Not only will it help Larrimore earn an upper level 4-H award, it will also help the Calvert Grange. The folding metal chairs used at the grange events were purchased and have been in use since 1963. New chairs for the facility are long overdue.
Purchasing chairs will not only help the grange and Larrimore, they can also be bought as a gift in honor or memory of someone. Each chair can have a nameplate on the back (up to 14 characters) to honor someone. The plates will remain in place over the life of the chair.
Anyone who would like to support the Calvert Grange Chair Campaign may send checks payable to the: Calvert Boys and Girls Club 4-H Club, 1347 Wilson Road, Rising Sun, MD 21911. Each chair costs $20. You can buy as few or as many chairs as you'd like.
