The students raised $20,498.65 for the American Heart Association on Friday, February 13, surpassing the previous mark of $13,852, which was set last year.
In seven years, Calvert has generated over $80,000.
The AHA has an app and students can get their own website through the organization to raise additional funds.
"That definitely helps," said Wiecek.
Over $9,400 came via the internet with the rest coming back in packets handed out to students.
Prizes are awarded to the top classes and individual students. Mrs. Stevenson's class raised the most money and Mrs. Justus' class had the most participants. Those students earned extra recess.
The Top 5 fundraisers won a rock climbing trip on March 4 through Juhl's Promotions.
Julianna Wick generated $2,030 and was the top fundraiser for the second straight year. Ellie Wiecek (Megan Wiecek's daughter) $2,030, Dylan Blankenship $508, siblings Lexie and Aidan King $500, and Madison Fairweather $500, will also be going rock climbing.
