Eighteen months from now, part of the 600 block of East Pulaski Highway (Route 40) will be home to Ramsey Ford.
But for the next several days, that area is hosting a carnival.
It's a first-ever event and benefits the Boys and Girls Clubs of Cecil County, explained Frankie Stubbs, Dealership Operations Manager for Ramsey Ford.
The carnival is being staffed by Sherwood Amusements of Joppa. But local volunteers, from both the Boys and Girls Clubs and Ramsey Ford, are needed to pitch in for ticket and discount bracelet sales. The carnival features rides for both children and adults. There is also a variety of food and games.
"We have an awesome midway. This is fun for the whole family and helps a good cause," said Stubbs.
The carnival continues through Saturday, June 7. Tuesday through Thursday hours are 6:30 p.m. until 10:30 p.m. On the weekdays, there are ride discounts available. Friday hours are 6:30 p.m. through 11:30 p.m. The Saturday, June 7 carnival hours at 1 p.m. through 11:30 p.m. There is also still time to volunteer to help the Boys and Girls Clubs. Volunteers are needed to help in the ticket booth. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you want to help.
