Buy local. Eat fresh.
After being rained out two weeks ago, Perryville's Farmers' Market is once again open for the season. The market, along Roundhouse Drive, is open Fridays from 3-6 p.m. now until October.
Perryville's Economic Development Coordinator Billy Nelson coordinates the market and the vendors. Nelson said he hopes to attract a neighborhood brewery to the site in addition to the vendors who have currently signed on. He would also like to attract ice cream and cheese sellers/makers. Vendors pay $5 a week to sell their goods in Perryville or $25 for the season.
