It will soon be a lot safer to walk the streets of Charlestown.
The Town is getting a new sidewalk along Route 267 courtesy of the State Highway Administration.
"It does make it easier for people who like to walk. People can now walk to Trinity Woods, Cool Springs, and Scott Gardens," said Pumpaly.
Pumpaly said these efforts will be further enhanced, hopefully, with a requested line crosswalk and "Stop for Pedestrians" markings in the area of Route 7 at Trinity Woods.
