"Christmas in Candy Land" will take place at Immaculate Conception Church, 452 Bow Street, Elkton, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. that Saturday and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. the following day.
The bazaar features raffles, baked goods, and activities for children.
Among the prizes are 20 theme baskets and $1,000. More than 10 items are part of the silent auction. One highlight of the event is a Massachusetts block front chest made by parishioner Bob Klacka.
The parish is also raffling an iPad Air with tickets for that prize costing $5 apiece or three for $10.
Raffle winners will be drawn at 1:30 p.m. on November 15.
Terry's Bakery, run by parishioner Terry Gustafson, will have breads, muffins, and a variety of sweet treats.
There will be a Kids Corner with crafts and a Santa Shop.
Breakfast With Santa is slated for Saturday, November 14 from 8:30-10 (breakfast served until 9:45) in the Immaculate Conception School cafeteria
Cost is $8 per person (ages three and up) or $30 for a family (two adults and their child dependents). The menu: pancakes, bacon, scrambled eggs, bagels, fruit, and beverages.
In addition to breakfast, the cost includes a printed photo with santa, a gift from santa, goodie bag, craft, and personalized letter from Santa which will arrive in December. The breakfast does sell out so the church asks that you register by November 8.
Any crafters or vendors interested in participating can call the parish office at 410-398-1100. People wishing to donate a theme basket or silent auction item (such as gift certificates or sports tickets) can drop it off at the parish office. Volunteers are needed.
