"If I were mayor, I would be fun, exciting, and considerate. However, I would also be responsible, organized, and creative. I would make sure everyone knows what is going on in the town. Everyone might not like every decision but in the end some citizens might end up finding it useful. Here is an example.
Happy Town is a nice, peaceful, kind, and hard working town. Every body that lives there are friends. Everyone follows the rules whether it's the law, a classroom rule, a rule from a family member, or a rule from a friend. When Happy Town had enough money to build a place for kids to play, that all changed.
Some citizens wanted to use that money for a skate park and others wanted to use the money for a playground. The citizens of Happy Town were starting to turn on each other. Every one was fighting because they thought their opinion was better. At a Town Hall meeting with the citizens, a vote was held. As the mayor of Happy Town I decided to build the playground based on majority of votes. Some citizens still did not like the decision. I tried to persuade them by pointing out the positive features about the playground, such as, if you have a dog you can walk it there. You can also go on nature walks. More and more people started to like the playground. After a while even the citizens who wanted a skate park started to pitch in. Some people still didn't like the playground and started to be mean to each other. This started to be a problem for Happy Town so I told the citizens that wanted a skate park, we will add a skate park to the town later when we have enough. Happy Town calmed down and stopped fighting.
The playground has been built and kids love playing on it but some still really wanted the skate park. One day the kids that wanted the skate park asked me if they could use the park for a science report. I said yes. When they saw all of the nature life there they started to like the playground. They came up to me the next day to thank me for the playground and letting them do their report. They said they got an A+. Soon everybody was liking that they can bring their pets there and go on nature walks. Happy Town became peaceful and quiet again and the playground was used by everyone and everyone enjoyed it.
To conclude, at first some citizens wanted a skate park but after the playground was built, people saw the positive features of the playground and found it useful."
